Hide Recipients - like BCC for meetings

A question that often arises is – can I BCC a meeting request? Meaning can I send the same meeting request to multiple recipients and keep their email addresses confidential?

Well up to the advent of The New Outlook the answer was no. Which was quite frustrating.

Now in The New Outlook you can send one meeting request to many people and keep their email addresses private.

Star the meeting request as normal. Add your title and start to add the email addresses.

Click on Response Options and select Hide Attendee List .

Now the recipients will only see their own email address. It works just like BCC when sending an email.

What the Recipients See

When the email invitation arrives, the recipients see only their own email address.

Once my Outlook.com account accepts the invite goes into my calendar and when I open it – I don’t see any other email addresses apart from the sender.

What will you use this for? Have a go and let me know how you get on.
